Hi All,

I am determining whether to sign up for a new 3G Iphone when they become available.  What I need to know in order to fully make the decision is 2 things:

1.  Can I have both my work email (microsoft exchange) and personal (pop via Orcon) on the phone?
2.  Can I have my calendar syncing with appoints from my windows machine and my music from itunes on mac?

I am suspecting know, but want some wisdom.

Regards,
Alexis

1. Yes you can have more than one email account setup on the iPhone.
2. There is 3rd party software that will sync your Outlook Calendar to your iPhone - I don't believe this is native (someone correct me if I'm wrong). This software is unlikely to work off the bat and will have to be developed to work with firmware 2.0. Shouldn't be too long.

You can also auto-sync your outlook to your GCalendar using 3rd party software. Then using NemuSync (iphone application) you can sync your gCalendar with your iPhone Calendar whenever you have an internet connection on your iPhone (3G/WiFi)- this is agreat piece of free software and works really well.

Nemusync may not be available as an official iPhone app for the 3G version (non-jailbroken).  In fact I'm almost sure Apple won't sanction apps like this in an effort to push more people toward MobileMe

Outlook is supported with Apple's new MobileMe (wireless Exchange) service, might be worth checking that out...

Doesn't this work with Outlook without the need for a third-party app (apart from iTunes of course)?
Official Apple Site: iPhone uses iTunes to sync with the calendar application you already use on your computer — iCal or Entourage on the Mac or Outlook on a PC — just as it does with your contacts. If you don’t already use one of these applications to manage your appointments, now is a great time to start, so you’ll be ready to sync when your iPhone arrives.
