Hello,

I've recently decided that I am going to jailbreak my 3G iphone, mainly for Java use. However, the only guides I can find for jailbreaking 2.0.2 require a mac. I do not have a mac, i'm one of those happy Windows users.

Anyone got any solution to jailbreak the 2.0.2 OS with the use of a Windows PC?
If a can't do this, i'd be happy to jailbreak 2.0.1. But my other question is this: can I actually downgrade to 2.0.1 from 2.0.2? Or is this not possible?

Thanks

go for winpwn, quickpwn isn't as customisable and assumes a few things are already working/have happened to your phone - if they haven't then you run into problems.  winpwn is just like pwnagetool for mac so very good.

if i jailbreak, will i keep all my apps that i currently have installed?
also as I understand it, once an update comes out, i have to reinstall the whole phone and apply a new jailbreak every time right?

hmmm could someone who has successfuly used winpwn for 2.0.2 please give a short guide (where to download from, what to watch out for etc). I just looked at this http://www.modmyifone.com/wiki/index.php/Jailbreak_and_Unlock_2.x_on_Windows

and I see one of the questions in the installation is "are you using an official carrier? I just dont want to mess up my UNLOCK since I am traveling to europe soon and I will be using another carrier..

btw i am on Vista X64 :-o
