Now that Windows Live is fully out there; with email available to everyone via POP (and synching beautifully with my iPhone), Calendar fully operational, and Contacts still working well; I wonder if we will ever get to the option of syncing our iPhones with Windows Live to get push e-mail, calendar and contacts?

Will Live ever be available over MS Exchange do you think? (even if for a small price that I would gladly pay).

Every year I put another hundred dollar bill (and a twenty) into the Apple shredder for the sake of MobileMe, and quite frankly, I ain't happy about it. The concept of MobileMe is a great one, but it isn't worth the price that Apple are asking for it, and it barely works properly (still). Most annoying, I can't use it on work PCs with older MS Explorer browsers and I'm totally sick of the crap warnings I get when I use any Microsoft browser to look at MobileMe.

I want my @live.com email address back, Steve Jobs, you can keep @me.com

Keep your eye on Gmail for domains (now called Google Apps Standard/Premier) and Windows Live for domains (now called Windows Live Admin Center)

http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/group/index.html

Basically you get hosted email/calander etc for your own domain name provided by M$ or Google.  Accessible from any web enabled client (pc/mac/phone) for either free (ad funded) or cheap.
