i am taking my laptop to a party on saturday to supply the music. is there any way i can get the remote app for itunes on my iphone to control itunes with out taking my wifi router to mate the wiresless network for them to comunicate with. Can i turn the wifi card in my laptop into the wireless router?
Yes. If you are on windows vista, Go to network and sharing centre, In the left "toolbar" click setup a connection or network. In the dialog box that pops up click "setup a wireless adhoc network and follow the wizard.
If you are using Mac, click on the Airport icon in the top bar and select "Create Network", then follow the wizard and connect to the network you create.
