hm.... its nearing the end of our 3GB + 1000pxt addon... does anyone know if something else will replace it or something? its edging dangerously close to the end of august > < i think i have gotten used to having "near unlimited data" especially on the iphone where you cant really do much apart from internet/apps/youtube etc...

250mb will be hard to readjust to haha...

It will probably get extended another month like it has done since July(ish) 2009, well hopefully anyway as that is what is keeping on this plan.

I'm hoping this is extended too, although I haven't used much data since I've been on the plan it's nice to be able to use data when I feel like it.

I've tried my hardest but haven't used more than 100Mb yet; perhaps I need to get out more!

Paul Brislen will probably be the only one that's authorised to make an official statement on this...and that'll be tomorrow after the promo ends, I'd say.

Interesting to see their strategy. I worked out the total cost of ownership and I will most likely terminate my contract if they end the promotion and just pay the termination charge

Vodafone forums (johnr) confirmed it is being extended on month by month basis, with 30 days notice given in the event of its expiry.

Not exactly promoting long term planning, but not too bad...

I wonder whether Voda will cancel this IF it doesn't get abused by too many heavy users (it's always a few!)? I was pleasantly surprised by the extension and have been metering my usage for the inevitable day of shrinkage!
