Yesterday I installed the 4.1 software and upgrade and now get the message "could not activate cellular data network". I am using XT.

Any ideas?

You need to re add "internet.telecom.co.nz" as the APN

Here is a guide how to do it

Updates usually include a carrier update and as VFNZ is the official carrier in NZ, it's likely the firmware upgrade included a default setting protocol for VFNZ.
