Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, so if not please forgive me.

My son bought  a iphone 3gs from uk when he was over there. Its lock to a uk network. He has tried to jailbreak and unlock it but it will not work. He thought it would be easy as he had jailbroken and unlocked his previous one which had been a 3g iphone from usa.

Can anyone suggest how he goes about this please. a site that can explain how to jail break it and unlock it. he does not have the uk sim as he didn't think to keep it..
