Until a couple of weeks ago I could mark an email unread using a blue link near the top right of the message, in the iPhone email app. It's disappeared recently, for no reason I can work out. Does anyone know what's up, and how to get it back? It's really handy to be able to check a message, work out it's not critical, and mark it unread to deal with when i'm back at my PC.

I'm not on the newly released firmware yet. I'm on a 2G iPod Touch.

I'm using an iPhone 4, have done since August, always with the latest version of iOS, and I don't recall ever seeing that option . . .

EDIT: Oooooh there it is, how did I not notice that? :-)

I've had the iPod Touch for maybe 1-2 years, it's always been there, until recently. I wish Apple let other email apps into their walled garden.

When in an email, next to the "From" you should see some blue text that says "Details". Tap it and it'll drop down who the email was sent to and also give you the option to "Mark as Unread".

If you had it showing and you inadvertantly tapped hide (which shows in place of Details after you tap it) then it will hide the option and remember the setting.
