Is no iPhone thread on any site safe from fandroids and their little shoulder-chips?

Just ignore them, eventually they'll get bored and go back to picking their nose.

Anyway,

I have iOS5 on my iPad2 here are some things

  • Notification server buggy and can hang

  • iMessage unreliable and hangs frequently

  • Sound server buggy (IM+ sounds for incoming messages for example)

  • Some apps crash randomly (Facebook apps seem to be the worst)

  • Handwriting apps still work beautifully

  • Document partition does not mount anymore, can only transfer videos via itunes atm

  • Notification tray on iPad has no clock

  • Twitter integration doesnt seem to work at the moment

  • Multitouch gestures rock but are hard to adopt

  • Newsstand cannot be banished to my spam folder called Apple (its a folder so cannot go inside others)

  • Multi download apps is amazing

I'm liking the geo fencing for reminders, although it does chew up the battery (GPS has to be on all the time).

So I can set a task to say "Pickup milk" and reminder on location and set it to when I leave my office, then as I'm driving away from my work it pops up a reminder.

Facebook app crashes on current iOS.. As does twitter. So no change there.

I didn't sign one. All I have time for is testing apps so not like I can give away code secrets anyway.

Hah! That's true, with iOS you just don't get the "Oh hai, a app had to be ended here, do you wantz to reopen?" it's just like "LOLZ I KILLED YR APPZ!"

*Goes back to picking nose*

You may be a heretic but i laughed :D

Overall it's a step in the right direction. Now only if they would steal Microsoft Word :D (getting sick of not being able to see equation editor files)

Michael,

You naughty naughty boy, how dare you come onto this thread and say someting like that.  Go to your room now and leave your computer and phone switched off until advised and for goodness sake stop picking your nose.
