Folks, I have installed iOS 6 beta on my iPhone4! Can confirm that there is no voice turn by turn on it. Just the plain old Google maps like text turn by turn instructions, however, they are presneted in slightly better way which you would always expect from Apple.
I think maps app is work in progress and needs lots more to come closer to what google provides.
Again just to confirm with those saying it works.... Turn by turn means you are getting constantly updated route information. Like the distance to travel constantly decreases and the time to destination is updated as well.
If all you get (which is all I am getting ) is read outs of directions that are static and don't update as you drive, then this is not turn by turn.
Is anyone in NZ getting proper turn by turn navigation via the maps app?
