Since getting my Pebble Steel last June, I'm actually keen to see what Apple have come up with, but I won't be buying into the hype.
If all the other brands can't get more that a day out of their smart watch, I seriously doubt they will either.

After having the Pebble for six months, to be honest I'm betting the majority of the people of the people that have the myriad of Android smart watches now probably barely use the flashy gimmicks on their devices.

I like the simplicity of just reading the time when I look at my watch, getting notifications and being able to update the watchface when I find one I like, or even make one of my own.
Pebble can do the other things like stock tickers, weather, steps, sports scores, etc but when it comes down to it, it's a watch.

I still look at the other devices out there for Android, and occasionally I wish my 6 Plus could have one of them attached to it, but alas it's limited to one or two special Android phones, but then I remember what I have a watch for - time.

I'll have a look tomorrow.

Personally I want an Apple TV4! (and someone to jailbreak the AppleTV3!!!)

John Gruber at Daring Fireball is my Apple commentator of choice. He's posted his final guesses of pricing before the big reveal. Some are pretty eye watering! To quote... (US dollars of course)

"Here are my “final guesses” from last night (for 38/42mm models):

Apple Watch Sport (all colors, with Sport Band): $349/399
Apple Watch, steel, Sport Band: $749/799
Apple Watch, steel, Classic Buckle: $849/899
Apple Watch, steel, Milanese Loop: $949/999
Apple Watch, steel, Modern Buckle (38mm only): $1199
Apple Watch, steel, Leather Loop (42mm only): $1299
Apple Watch, steel, Link Bracelet: $1499/1599
Apple Watch, space black steel, Link Bracelet: $1899/1999
Apple Watch Edition, Sport Band: $7499/7999
Apple Watch Edition, Modern Buckle (38mm only): $9999
Apple Watch Edition, Classic Buckle (42mm only): $10,999"

He has for months predicted the gold Apple watch will retail for at least US$5000.
His podcast "The Talkshow" is great, if you're an Apple fan you may well enjoy it. Each weekly episode is often over two hours long, I personally really enjoy listening to it when commuting to work. One episode lasts me most of the week :)

Cheers,
Joseph

edit: adding a link to the very good New Yorker profile of Jony Ive from last month. Fascinating (and very long) read, highly recommended if you're interested and have a spare half hour. Or hour! (17,000 words I think)
Gruber is quoted in said article "John Gruber, an influential Apple blogger, has written that the prices may be “shockingly high . . . from the perspective of the tech industry,” but perhaps “disruptively low from the perspective of the traditional watch and jewelry world.”

Second edit for clarity, added quote tags to clarify that the quoted guesses prices are Grubers, not mine.
Personally I think the gold Apple Watch Edition will be at least US$2000

Swatch watch NZD $80 - accurate to 10 seconds per 6 months - new battery every 2 years - lasts 10 years.

Swatch watches aren't really built to last that long, but there are plenty of watches you can get for a couple of hundred that would be of much better quality than what Apple are likely to produce.

Interested to see what the watch looks like and what it does. It won't compare to my current watch which hasn't stopped since 2007. Cogs, springs and rotors tend to work much better than any of my battery powered items.

I have four "disposable" Swatch watches aged between 12 and 4 years. They all work perfectly and keep good time.
I also have a $200 Seiko dress watch - a lot of money in the 1970s - it works very well 40 years later - as it should.

I think I'll be in the market for a smart watch in about 2yrs when they aren't so big, clunky and have far more health monitoring capabilities.

A watch is not only a functional device it is also a piece of jewellery. Those watches maybe functional but they are ugly.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Apple TV all new or at least a hardware + software update

Release of Yosemite update + iOS 8 update

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
