Had the same issue with my last iPhone 6 Plus, tried swiftkey and problem still persisted only way I solved it was selling the damn thing and going back to android which left a bad taste with apple being the first iPhone I owned. Anyway had a 6S plus and now 7 plus and no issues so must be model specific.

I have iphone6. Not having any freeze up problems, so not all iphone 6's are freezing up.

 

 

 

I have the 128GB model so heaps of spare memory. iOS is now 10.3.3, but wasn't having any problems with previous.
