The portrait camera mode looks awesome.

 

I can't figure out why there is no Always On Display with the OLED display. This is one of the best features of having an OLED display.

 

Has not been invented yet by Apple it's not even on my Samsung S8+ :P (looks over at my Always on Display)

This is just getting mad with the pricing of things.

You can buy a new nice spec PC for that.  I could understand the price if you could dock it and run it as a mac.

I'll stick with my s8 and note8 (when it turns up).

I don't like glass-backed phones, they are too fragile for my liking - I'm happy to forgo wireless charging for durability. Apple are claiming the iPhone X has the most durable glass technology to date, so will be interesting to see how their claim holds up. The Essential phone claimed similar, but has been shown to fall short in the real world. Will be interesting to see the iPhone drop/scratch tests once it releases.

They invented the modern smartphone if you like. Took it from an internet connected phone to a more widespread set of functions. I think apps came in the second version?
