kryptonjohn:Wade:I recently upgraded my 11yo daughter from a 6s to a 8+ and she has had no issue dealing with the bigger size...
If you like the idea of a larger screen trust me you will make it work and never look back or regret
My 13yo daughter now wants to leave us and be adopted by you! Poor petal having to make do with a crappy Nokia windows8 phone!
It's also worth considering this question in the context of what other devices you have. If you have an iPad then the larger iPhone is harder to justify.

matisyahu:Personally I'd wait till the the end of this year if you can because the move from 7 to 8 or X is a modest upgrade where as at least with the next version it'll be more sizeable step forward particularly if the rumours regarding the next version will be the move to the iPhone X design becoming the mainstream iPhone device.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
SheriffNZ:
Hi all
I'm currently running an iPhone 7 which I love. I'm starting a new job in a few weeks and have the option of an 8 or an 8 plus. Seeing as I'm not actually paying the money for the phone, I was thinking I might try the 8 plus but I'm a little cautious about it's size.
What are your experiences with the plus size phones? Any buyers remorse? Do you drop it more than you would a smaller phone? How is it in your pocket? I generally don't run with my phone so that's not an issue for me.
Whatever I get, it will be the sole phone I run and I'll be doing something with my 7 (probably selling it, but one of my kids may inherit it).
Thanks for your thoughts.
How big are your pockets?
Big pocket - go big.
