dauckland:Hmm.I managed to load the updated bundle.Steps:After editing the bundle I copied it over to one of my linuxes into the apache rootCreating the folder structure content.info.apple.com/iPhone/CarrierBundles/061-4903.20080710.3eTr5I moved the bundle file into that folderOn my mac I edited the host file:## # Host Database # # localhost is used to configure the loopback interface # when the system is booting. Do not change this entry. ## 127.0.0.1 localhost 255.255.255.255 broadcasthost ::1 localhost fe80::1%lo0 localhost 10.0.1.xxx appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.netThen I restored the iPhone. It did ask to download an updated bundle, which after all the redirection settings would be server up by me.After restore the bundle (the custom one) did appear in the library folder, so I presume it's loaded onto the phone (APN set to www.vodafone.net.nz).But. It still doesn't work. I think the iphone specific APN is just a way of Vodafone knowing it's an iphone.I think they detect the phone's IMEI.I will keep trying.
Maybe try this?
