tonyhughes:Great info! Best post I have seen amongst all the BS that has been thrown around lately!

What BS is being referred to? If it is to do with people being told they can't buy iPhones outright without adding a plan, those are personal experiences from people with no reason to lie, aren't they? As mentioned, sales staff have been inconsistent with both policy and information.

But agree. Very informative post.

Absolutely, its very safe to say that vodafone & their resellers are all not talking to eachohter very well on some aspects. I'm glad that alot of people have purchased it outright without getting the same experience I had at my local, so now I'll go back tomorrow and try getting my hands on one this time around.

Are we not all talking about the Vodafone BS? They don't want you to get out of the store without a contract so they are the ones starting the BS.

I didn't want to assume, but if that's the "BS" that was being referred to, my point (like yours) is that it stemmed from VF staff themselves. Just because one person had no problems buying the phone outright, it doesn't mean that other reports from GZers that they had problems (or were refused) were untrue.
