A pity they are 'in ear' type, which I dislike, due to not liking to put things in my ear that far up.I also find they pop out. I like the older stype ear shape of the original ones, but not the long droopy sticks on the end. A pity they didn't upgrade the regular ones too to a more modern design

You may find they get updated in the next cycle- I sure hope so at least.

Would fit with the rest of their product line up having the non-pro/pro lineup.

Just got them and have been using them for the past hour, I'm impressed! Definitely what I've wanted since the original AirPods came out. Case is a little wider than I'm used to but I'l be waiting on those silicone cases so they don't get too scratched.

I guess they have to have some sort of seal to provide ANC.

I've just got my AirPods Pro. I'm quite impressed by the ANC for what they are. They don't feel like they are going to fall out of my ears like regular AirPods do. Sound quality, as most reviews have said, is pretty good but nothing amazing.

Wow you received yours fast! Do they feel like traditional in-ear headphones? Supposedly the design allows the pressure in your ears to equalise and so removes that earplug feeling.

I'm in Singapore for work, so just ordered some for pickup, there was a large queue for pickup...... They feel comfortable even after a few hours and i certainly didn't feel any pressure.

The case scratches far too easy just like the normal ones, so might be worth getting a case of some sort if that worries you.

They arrived yesterday after I had left work. Didn't get to use them until this morning.

Initial thoughts:

- Noise Cancellation is instantaneous and on par, if not better than Bose QC 35s.

- AMAZING sound quality at 50%.

- The rubber they are using for in-ear is SUPER comfortable. Don't know how else to describe - it feels like that high end soft-plastic items are wrapped in. They have clearly tested this stuff because you don't even know it is there once they're in. Very comfortable.

In the box they include a USB-C to Lightning connector. This hasn't been mentioned in many places. Beware of this if you only have USB-A power bricks/ports on your devices. Naturally any Lightning cable will work to charge the case..

But as someone who listens to electronic music with heavy synths and overproduced drums (drum and bass) - these are a phenomenal upgrade.

I personally think the QC35s have much better ANC, but for the size of AirPods, i agree, they are very good.

Mine arrived yesterday but didn't get to try them until today. Sound is very comparable to my PowerBeats Pro with good bass and clear mids and treble. I brought these for using at work and short flights around NZ and I think they are going to be perfect. I was quite blown away by the NC when I first switched them on, the noise of the office all but disappeared. I'll definitely keep my PowerBeats Pro for exercise as the AirPods Pro don't feel anywhere near as secure and I can see one dropping out if I was cycling in the wind (had this happen with the old AirPods).

Overall, I'm impressed.

I preferred the tap to change tracks etc, rather than pressing the button. Guess I will get use to it.

Mirroring what others have said...I love the fit and features, but the Force Touch instead of tap is a pain at first...I am sure I 'll get used to it.

The sound is on par with my Beats Powerbeats Pro.

The ANC is amazing - this is the first time I have ever used it so no basis for comparison other than passive noise reduction via isolation...what a difference!!!

I prefer the ability to pop them in and out without the earhooks that the PowerBeats have, but already miss the physical controls. Luckily I have an Apple Watch, so am able to use that as a remote.

I am (so far) loving them.
