Are you familiar with the backend of MMS? can I assume that if you managed to receive MMS messages that the iPhone works with standard PPG notifications?

Both, its SHOCKING like, almost completely useless, resolution of all pxts in and out must be about 50x50. But having said that, i did send a pxt to a phone that can recieve them and it said 'MMS too large!' so that makes me wonder? Let me know how you get on with it!
I know hardly anything about cell networks at all actually! - I don't even know what PPG is!
I did notice on beta 1 that when listening to music the touch screen would go unresponsive for a few seconds :( But ill test this and give some feedback aswell.
I just noticed that shaking the phone while writing a TXT or email brings up an undo/redo menu.. not sure if this was in beta 1.
The PXT size is to do with Vodafone, not the iPhone, I will see if I can get this fixed tomorrow.
b2 brings bettery battery life so far, faster safari, fewer general crashes, better rotate support (landscape/portrait switching), copy+paste responds better and other minor UI fixes
do you have any information regarding HTTP Streaming in 3.0? what method is used? do the original files need to be in a specific format (resolution, frame rate etc)?
Did you guys with v3 sign up as a developer, or did a developer add your UDID for beta testing purposes of some apps? or have you got a jailbreak for the v3 as mentioned in the dev team blog

I am personally doing some app testing so I got my phone added as a developer / tester.
I would imagine so, but it may pay to call apple and ask them.
I'm disappointed with MMS being included. Its so useless and why pay to send an MMS when you can upload photos for free?! Of course there are times when it may be useful, but no way near as useful as emailing photos. Just my opinion.
Beta 2 is far better (which makes sense) I can type without the phone getting totally killed.
What are we all thinking is the best feature in 3.0?
At pixelthis we are very excitied about the new payment models, being able to upsell with level packs for example is huge for us. It makes the 99c app a far more viable option.
I'm really looking forward to the new hardware too. I just hope we get some better deals in NZ, vodafones pricing is a joke.
Prepaid call rates on the lowest plan... how does that make sense? and that 250mb data plan is shocking! mind you it is NZ, a 3gb data cap on dsl is probablly on par with this.
