Rushmere:

I've tried a few different browsers now, and none of them work for me.

As it works for some and not for others, I'm wondering if there is some setting that is affecting it?

Could be. I just tried Safari too and that works also. Using wifi on Spark fibre connection.

Rushmere:[snip] but nothing happens when I hit enter.

What exactly are you hitting? If you use the return key on the keyboard, it seems to work OK, but otherwise I also see it just not search sometimes.

I just got my son in law to try it on his iPhone 14 26.4.1. Same Spark network as mine. He can search no issues too.

For me, this is being caused by my Unifi UCG-Fiber. My phone works on mobile (Kogan), but via Wi-Fi, not so much. I've tried pausing the adblocking, and adding various shit to the allowlist, no dice. Disabling ad blocking entirely did fix it, but I'd rather not.  I had a poke at their html, and I'm pretty sure it gave me leprosy. Screw it, I'll go to Bunnings.

Seeing similar weird search not working things happening on spotlightstores website. It also has a suggestion thing that sometimes appears so perhaps they are both using the same platform?

This was it for me too.
Forgot that I’d been playing with the Unifi Adblock and only had it set to my iPhone.
Wife’s iphone was working fine.
Soon as I removed ad blocking from my iPhone it started working.

I emailed Mitre10 Customer Support last week outlining the problems we were having with search on Windows11 pc's and laptops.

I added a link to this forum.

Asked for an update yesterday and this is their reply.

" (Customer Support) 8 May 2026, 11:19 NZST,
Thanks for following up.
Unfortunately, there’s no update yet. Unless multiple customers report the same issue, it’s likely to remain a low priority job for them.
I will touch base once I hear from them.
 Kind regards,"

Looks like they aren't really interested until they get more complaints.

Ah well, google will find their pages sometimes, otherwise bunnings has a working search all the time.

Works fine on my iOS device using the Firefox Focus browser (which blocks various trackers and scripts).

It's working fine on my iPhone. I don't know much about tech, so it's just a regular iPhone with no tweaks.

Also have issues with Mitre 10 search on iPhone and Mac, pretty sure it's Unifi related for me.

With wifi off, search works in Safari on iPhone 17, 26.4.2.

It is only our W11 computers that search won't work on.

Works fine on our W10 computers, my iPhone, and our Android tablets.

It's an issue with ad-blocking. Just turned mine off on their website and search works again now.
