There are 2 seperate issues - The camera auto focus should only make a noise when you tap the phone and the the "rattle" from the silent switch when you shake it.

I took my phone into Mobile Phone Repairs with the rattle issue and the fact my screen wasn't level with silver bezel and I had a replacement in my hands within 2 hours.

Alas although I have a nice level screen the silent switch still emits a faint rattle so at the guess thats how it is.

I had a week 27 phone replaced with a week 25 - It will be interesting to see if they correct the rattle with later builds.

I have the rattle in the camera as well and it does go away when using the auto focus but only for a split second.

I brought mine direct from Apple and rang them to ask for help, they said they had never heard of the problem before but told me to take it back to vodafone if i wanted them to have a look at it for repair???

Is this corect? i remember reading on here that someone from Vodafone said that i couldnt go through them?

Is the rattle normal? Surely everyone should have it if that is the case? i only notice it when i place it on the table or tap near the camera, it doesnt rattle if i shake it.

The screen also seems to have a yellow tint when the brightness is quite low, this goes away when i turn the brightness up however so i dont think that is much of a problem.

Any info would be good.

Cheers

Hey - The rattle from the camera is normal (Auto-Focus).

There seems to be certain degree of yellow tint out there and have read of some phones being replaced - If you don't think it's much of a problem then thats probably your answer ;-)

Never take your phone back to Vodafone go straight to Mobilefone Repair if you can.

Cheers!
