Looks like I was wrong, it appears the device is 850/900/1900/2100 which is great news for Vodafone and carriers in Aussie using 900.

The Tech Specs page shows that iTunes 9.2 is required for iPhone 4, so I guess we'll see that come out pretty soon too.

A pity there was nothing about Safari 5 or updates to MobileMe - guess that's why they're called rumours though!!!

Please, please. I'd love to be able to use some of the good "European" phones on Telecom. But I digress.

Video chat requires Wi-Fi and isn't compatible with normal video calling. The new iPhone also uses a micro SIM.

James Bond:

iPhone 4 NZ release

Er, not quite. Vodafone issued a single line announcement:

"Vodafone will launch iPhone 4, the thinnest smartphone in the world with the highest resolution display ever built into a phone, in New Zealand in the coming months. Information on pricing and tariff plans will be made available as soon as possible."

When asked why they says "coming months" and Apple says July 2010, Vodadone reply was "this is all we are cleared to say at this point."

I guess they're still trying to work out how much of a gouging the market will bear.
