Sbettings

Finger swipe top of screen
Tap Wifi off
Tap Phone connection off

Turning off the Wifi and phone connection ready for placement in dock/clock uring the night.

Faster than finding the settings icon and doing it in there.

Oh and who wants to pay $100 for Tomtom app ;-)
or in fact $13 for mBox so you can use Hotmail with your iPhone! Cmon Apple, soon it will be

This changes everything. Again.

Restricting everything. Again

Firewall from Cydia is a must as well.
Install it and see how many apps and processes are constantly trying to connect through your data connection!

I've had to run a jailbroken iphone 3gs for a long time due to it being locked to an Australian carrier.
I'm assuming this JB will work on all latest MC bootloaders? Reason I never updated iOS from 3.1.2.

Which firewall app are you referring to?

Yes it will work on the MC model.

Comex of the iPhone Dev Team made this. This changes everything again, indeed! :D

Just to confirm, its pretty much impossible to brick any iOS devices. Even if everythign goes peer shaped and can't get anything on the screen you can still do a restore - its quite well thought out to be honest.

Well, the only thing that may entice me to jailbreak is the MyWi app, which allows me to share my 3g connection with my WIFI-iPad. Other than that, i have no use for jailbreak really...

From engadget:

Update 5: Comex reports that iPads running iOS 3.2.1 aren't presently working properly, and that MMS problems after jailbreak are a known issue.

Update 6: Good news? Saurik (of Cydia fame) has pitched in to secure JailbreakMe some better hosting. Bad news? Reports indicate that FaceTime doesn't work after jailbreak, either.

I'd hold off using it for now
