CYaBro: How much would you want for your wifi only ipad if you sold it?
We may be looking for one to use with our new POS software so no need for 3g.

That sounds cool... Do the checkout people do the checking out (for want of a better word) while wandering around the shop?

Haha no, nothing that fancy.  Just want to get rid of the computer on the front desk as we now have a web based ap for tracking customer repairs, onsite jobs & POS so I thought an iPad would be perfect.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

...getting a bit off topic, but while in a Wellington cafe recently I noticed they use an iPad in a funky, almost steampunk supporting device on the counter to do all their till work. Looked very cool.

I also use mine for watching videos of cats doing humourous things.

I know what you mean but I found it invaluable recently updating my Mum's fatso queue. She's in a resthome with no computer access, can't get into my home and you can't get fatso by catalogue so we spent an afternoon in McDs setting her up for the next 10 months!
