robbyp: They won't do that, as it will piss off exisiting owners of the ipad 2, as it has only just ben released. The ipad2 is higher resolution than the iphone 4 with the retina display anyway with more pixels. There won't be an update until next year. The only way they may introduce a new ipad, is if it a higher speced ipad2. The updates later this year will be for a refreshed iphone and ipod
I tend to agree on one end - as I find it difficult to comprehend them introducing a new version for an existing device that is out of stock for most days at Jbhifi.
On the other, you'll have people like me who buy everything new and shiny regardless :)
If they bring to market a retina iPad and they have access to all my funds.
