Whats the deal getting the 5s on open term and spreading out the payment? It doesnt work online either.

You can't do it online. Just go into a store and say you want Open Term, 24 months Interest Free. That's how a few of us (myself included) have purchased our 5s' so far.

Great.. just found out from Telecom that they apparently had a plan change come through for my number which meant my order (which was at the dispatch stage) got cancelled and then had to be reprocessed (go to the back of the queue).

Yeap my 3 (on 2 orders) have changed to preparing for shipment and no longer offer me the option of canceling.

I got an email telling me my credit card got declined even though there is more than sufficient funds available and they shipped the cases through the same card.

Gotta wait until monday to contact them.

My online order with Apple was accepted on Oct 25 with a likely shipment date of Nov 19/20. That's how it stayed until about an hour ago; I got an emailed invoice and tracking number and the courier anticipates delivery on Monday Nov 4.
Cool.

Me too. My gold 32GB was due to ship 14-18 November and just got an email saying it's due to arrive 5th November. Stoked :)

I have the same issue. Case and spare charger from the same order arrived last week. I contacted the card issuer (BNZ) who say there is no problem, and they couldn't even see a declined payment (from Apple or anyone else).

Bring on Monday.

Mine was originally due for delivery on 19 - 20 November and last night I got a despatch notice that predicts delivery on the 7th of November. I'm surprised that their original projection was so far out, but I guess it's good that they under promise and over deliver.
