wlgspotter: Sorry everyone for being ignorant, but how to you actually send a MMS/PXT on the iPhone?

I've downloaded and applied v3.0 software, and make sure my Cellular Data Network settings is as per post 1 above, but what's next? How do I actually send a MMS/PXT?

Thanks.

haha, go into your photos, click that little arrow bottom left, and if you have all the settings correct, you will be able to select mms, this will then send it to the messages app where you can select a contact and add a message to it before sending.

go to your text messages as usual create a new message and then there should be a little picture of a camera in the lower left hand side. Just click that

APN settings are as per 1st message except:-

MMS Max message size is set to 307200

I tried to delete the numbers but they keep coming back automatically

Next suggestion please

Depends on your plan, bestmates/favourites option etc - look on the Vodafone or Telecom website, whichever is relevant to you, for the charges specific to your plan.

Mine was working last night, but not this morning.  My problem was that somehow the MMS APN setting had just disappeared. Restarted, put it back in, and now it works.

3.0 bug?

Hi, I got this working no trouble first go. I'm currently on Vodafone Prepay. I couldn't get tethering working via bluetooth, but worked fine with USB. I just turned tethering on and plugged it in.

Not sure, but, yes...have the same issue...each time I reset the APN it works fine...then a few hours later...it stops (red ! mark)...could be a bug...or maybe it's just kicking us out because we don't use the www.iphone-vodafone.net.nz APN?

That's a good point.  i use www.vodafone.net.nz because I'm not on an iPhone plan.  Not sure how/why that would be affecting it, but Vodafone Does the Darndest Things so who knows?

Im on a VF Iphone plan.
According to Paul Brislen via Twitter this am-normal pxt costs. so that makes them 50c a pop.
Iphone plans dont have pxt quotas yet !!

MMS is now working on my phone.
Fault was with Vodafone NZ.
They reset my pxt setting at their end and presto all is OK.
I must add that their call center staff were VERY helpful and spoke perfect kiwi. I guess they don't outsource their call center
