Kiwiteacher: Have just read a garbled thing saying that the LG won't work so well in smaller cities/rural areas?
"" Telecom XT network uses 3G WCDMA 850MHz for wide coverage and 3G WCDMA 2100MHz for the main city infill. This phone supports the 2100freq so will work in the main cities but not in small cities/rural. So really the answer is no - It's for VF and 2DEG. ""

Also @billgates - Just wanted to point something out here:
Based on that post + your username & your signature, how many people on this forum would take you seriously? We all know you like Microsoft, and I know for a fact you won't admit anything else is better, but keep bias responses to yourself since Windows Phone in this case may not actually be the right option here...
freitasm: Actually, Windows Phone is quite a good smarphone if you want something that is easy to use, has some deep social network integration (out of the box with Facebook, soon with Twitter). Not so great for map navigation (maps is ok though).
I recommended the LG 2x because of 2degrees in the mix, but would have no problem recommending a Windows Phone for a novice smartphone user.
billgates:
That's your opinion. You are no body to tell me that "I should keep the bias responses to myself". Your opinion is clearly wrong and please stop trolling my posts. This is not the first time.

Everyone knows it is a very opinionated topic so leave the personal comments out, offer your opinions and supporting examples and let the OP make their own mind up.
