A flash mob perhaps!

I wonder what Vodafone is thinking less than 12 hours out from launch and no one lining up in Wellywood.  I think this says something.

Any word from Christchurch & has the line grown in Auckland?

hmm this is getting mighty tempting, I could be the first as it'll just be cash n hand and go

Dead Wellington store, the security guard was in there looking bored as ever leaning on a counter.

I will be going to the Wellington store after work to line up. I will report in when I get there, and if anyone else arrives.

So Wellington+1

What's the latest on Auckland?

I'm slowly becoming more and more tempted to just bite the bullet and upgrade - it'd actually be a saving monthly on what I currently pay for the exact same services.

But I don't want to be lining up from any time earlier than 10:30/11.

Now ... we got the world attention. Suddently, the world recognize how "overpriced" this thing is :D. VFNZ would gain "The world most greedy com service" in no time haha. Anyway, I think of lining up @ 11 onward in CHCH Embarassed (and got ripped off).

Hm... If you know you are getting ripped off, why are you still buying one? Surprised

Aren't they giving away free iphones to some of the people, in exchnage for waiting in line? They would have signed confidentiality agreements if they did, as it wouldn't look good for VF for be essentially paying people to pitch tents outside the store.

I wouldn't be surpirsed if you just turn up at the store when it opens, and you will get one straight away.

Why on earth would someone pay all that moeny, and then dissassble it, when you have still got to pay for the contract to use it. OK they may be the first ones in the world to publically dissect the phone (unless other NZers have got the same idea), but is it really worth it unless you are getting paid.
