Dingbatt: But remember it is APPLE GOLD which they have said is special and many times stronger and tougher than ordinary gold.

I think it more looks like Canary Yellow. (Hat tip to Billy Birmingham)

Hello,

i live in New Zealand and really want a Apple watch I see that Australia are getting them before NZ, is it worth me getting a family member that lives in australia to purchase and courier me one? Or is it likely to be just as quick to wait for it to be released in NZ?

If I do get one from Australia Nd use it in NZ is everyting going to be the same? Warranty, compatibility etc?

THanks,

TAylor

I would imagine that Australia won't get a huge number in the first shipment so they may not be that easy to lay your hands on. Im not a hundred percent sure how Apple's international warranty works but NZ's CGA won't apply to goods purchased overseas. You are effectively importing the device so may get stung with duty as well.

If you buy the watch in Australia, the laws there will govern the sale. I don't know the CGA type laws there, so don't know how good/bad that would be compared to NZ.

I do know that Apple will honour a product bought in another country even though you have moved somewhere else. I have had them deal with products I bought in Norway here in NZ, and they have been really good about it.

If folks have $10,000 to spend on a phone, good on them. It's cool if people can buy what they like

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
