Decided late last night to jump ship to spark from OneNZ, and preorder the iPhone air.
delivery time says from 19th Sep still so hoping I made it in time! We shall see.

Interesting to hear about that discount being removed. I must check if the education one is still in play?

I think not, the whole deal seems to be gone "Our Kiwi heroes offer has now closed" which covered 1st responders, education sector etc. :(

I was getting the unlimited plan for $68 per month ($12 per month off) so ended up going with the $65 plan with Spark which more than covers my needs data wise.

Pretty sure they fulfil first in first served. They'd want them out on the last courier of the day I'd think.

Just got my notification from Spark with the tracking number. Courier label was created at 12:50pm today- looks promising! Not picked up by NZPost yet, probably waiting for the last courier of the day to prevent early deliveries.

I haven't heard anything from One NZ yet (cries), but my Apple order landed in Auckland at 03:49 this morning and is on hold @ DHL ready for delivery tomorrow.

yeah all gone as of this month.
damn so will need some phone calls to a customer retention etc to try for something different now…

Spark order has been picked up by NZPost.
My partner who ordered a pro max on the launch day also received his shipping email from Spark a while after mine, also picked up.

eta from nz post says tomorrow - cautiously optimistic!

I put my spark number into the One wallet website, and it offered me $1200 off a new iPhone.

For shits and giggles...

I put in my main number (contact, and was ex One NZ) and I got $1000 to spend on a new iPhone.
I then put in my Spark number (used to use this for work purposes and always was Spark) and I got $1200.

If I did the deal... 1699 (base iPhone 17... no reason at all for the Pro unless I really want that third camera and USB 3) - 99 for the deposit - 1200 = 400/36 = 11.11 for the next 36 months + $85 One plan.

Now I currently pay $60 for 75GB at Contact... That's only a $36.11 a month increase.

I'm really tempted... even though I love my Pixel 9 Pro XL.... (tempt me Michael)
