Handsomedan: On a completely different subject...

I am really put out at the act that none of my iphone 4 precision fit bumpers or cases work in my 4S.

Left side buttons just don't quite line up. What a waste of money, they were!!!

Why didn't you buy an iPhone 4S case and not an iPhone 4 Case?

No its not turned on, Strange how it will stay turned off when plugged into the wall charger but turns its self back on when you have it sitting in the dock.

Presso: I have a question re charging. I have an alarm clock dock next to the bed (Panasonic RC-DC1)
and normally before I hit the sack I throw my phone on it and then turn it off so it obviousy does not ring or make any noises and wakes me. This worked no problems for my 3gs but since I have jumped up to the 4s when I put it in the dock it starts charging fine, I then turn it off which it does but then turns its self back on again.
Trying the normal wall charger I can have it charging and turn it off and it stays off fine I wonder why when I put it in the dock it won't stay turned off.

I had this same 'problem' with my 4. I'd turn it off, plug it in and it would turn itself on again. I just muted it before plugging it in and going to sleep. I haven't tested it on the 4S, I'm now just so used to muting it if I'm charging at night.

Maybe fluctuating power from the dock system is triggering the 4S to turn on as it thinks it's just been plugged into power!?

I just read somewhere to try the following, which ill be trying when mine turns up if it has the same issue, go into the settings and turn off the autolock/sleep thing, turn off the auto brightness, and set the brighness to max, and leave it plugged in for 15-20 minutes, may help. Most things ive read say its a glass curing issue like before.

Does that mean you have a second very yellow screen or it's just slightly warmer than you'd like?

My 4S is definitely blue tint. Much nicer than my iPhone 4 that has a greener tint. Very happy.

Even the iPhone 4 had a variety of screens -- in my workplace there were at least 3 or 4 different types of screens. In my opinion the bluer ones look much better.

I would complain about the battery life but I must say that after a full discharge and then recharge it is excellent. Wow I just dictated that whole sentence with Siri and there was no errors!

Thats how lithium batteries go. A few full charges from zero or near zero and battery life will be maximised.

Re Siri, I need to get her to understand "ten"
