keepitwarm: ok, back to the Yellow saga, sorry people.

Well there is no saga, firstly thanks Telecom, good service no complaints there, given logic when replacement would arrive as they said it would.

Replacement iPhone just turned up due the yellow screen, and no not WARMER, yellow.

Very happy, the screen is slightly different than my iPhone 4,you can call it warmer or whatever, but its fine, perfect in fact, and i managed to dictate all of this perfectly with Siri. ( actually thats bull, it got confused with my hybrid accent) and i like the guy voice on the uk settings, he is the weakest link after all, its best when you are text emoticons and he reads them out. "smiley face"

Good that you got your replacement and no longer have a yellow screen. I wasn't disputing that there were any yellow screens out there, just that because there are some I think other people mistake the warmer screen for a yellow one. As you had said before, yours was very yellow so definitely needed replacing.

I find it quite funny that John Briggs didn't know he was going to be the voice of Siri until he heard it. Was just something he recorded a few years back. He does voiceovers for lots of programmes and commercials in the uk so it's a shame that the voice of Siri isn't lesser known. He does have a good voice, just very familiar. I shouldn't complain though as don't live there anymore and should feel a little more exclusive here, unless it works better for everyone than the Aussie Siri then I'll just be the same as everyone else.

When I'm -using- the 4S, the screen is fantastic. Sharp, crisp and clear. When I compare it to my 3GS, the 4S is much dimmer (or perhaps the 3GS is super bright). I'm not sure it's an issue... it's not like it's got a yellow tint or anything.

(technically I'll be a 4S owner soon)

So, has anyone who pre-ordered from the Apple Website on the 7th (or later) received their phone yet? Just wondering :)

Has anyone else had 'the rattle'? Lightly tapping the rear of my phone (iPhone 4S) near the camera/top area produces a slight rattle. Anyone else experiencing this? Something to do with the camera autofocus I've read; some people say the iPhone 4 also did this?

So it does. I wouldn't worry about it if it's widespread; it's probably normal.

Yeah was worried when my iPhone 4 was doing this but a quick google and I found out it is normal.

And of course it's a feature, in case you're near a baby who won't calm down. Built-in rattle.

Well, I managed to solve my case dilemma. Went to Yoobee in downtown and they were (as expected) very helpful.
Ended up with a very low profile black plastic thing that I almost unnoticeable. Almost.

It''s an Ozaki iCoat 0.4.

It's paper thin, matte black and covers three sides leaving the bottom exposed for docking etc.
