Run a stuck pixel fixer on YouTube and see what happens. Fixed my iPad 2 nicely.

I had no idea you could do this!

Unfortunately it did not work :( It is off to the side and doesn't bother me too much, would still like it fixed if possible though!

Rosie121: My telecom account has arrived with the $29 fee for the plan to pay BUT it also has a $13 amount on it, bringing it to $42! No idea what the is $13 is for, not that clear. I am phoning before the end of the month to cancel the plan anyway so will ask!

The $13 will be the monthly insurance. They asked me if I wanted to get it when i bought the phone, and I said no.
What it is, is insurance in case the phone gets damaged or dropped etc...

I guess you should be able to cancel it?

ricky1981: My 16gb White arrived today (ordered from Apple Store at about 9am on the day it became available). It's noticeably lighter and thinner than my 4S, the screen size isn't as noticeable as I expected although the colors look nicer.

.

My initial thoughts exactly. Snappier, and I now appreciate the extra screen real estate.

Yay :) Mine shipped just after midnight. Currently sitting in Hong Kong. Estimated delivery is 31st which sounds about right. Now I just need to work out how to get a nano sim. Nearest vodafone store is over an hour drive away so not driving there. Think I'll try and cut my micro.

I've had my iPhone 5 now for about a week--and very happy with it. I came from a 4, so it's way faster etc--only issue I have, and I had this on my 4 as well is the mail app itself seems to be so slow to download new mail and when it's downloaded, when you go to view it takes more time to bring the message up.

Any ideas of remedies on that one?

Also, does any retail stores sell the adapters? or is it best to buy off apple. I didn't think I needed one but now I miss my car charger and alarm dock too much. LOL

Mine must be on the same run as yours - currently in HK and should arrive Monday. Pretty stoked after all the waiting. I've also sold my iphone 4 about a month ago, so it's been a damn hard wait!.

Timing is consistent with littleheaven's one a week earlier.

Try ringing Vodafone customer support. They might be willing to post you one.

The three I'm monitoring which hadn't made it to Auckland on Friday all got there between 7:50 and 7:56 this morning. Given the wider range of times, I think TNT broke up the pallet in Sydney and everything on it got sent to New Zealand as separate packages this morning.

My brother's iPhone hasn't left Auckland since it got there at 12:15 Friday.

All four are bound for Wellington, and it will be interesting to see if TNT moves them to the Wellington depot over the weekend so they have more time for delivery on Monday.

I didn't see any lightning cables or adapters when I went into some stores in Wellington on Thursday which sell Aple products (Dick Smith and JB HiFi). A friend told me that Yoobee is waiting for their initial stock.

If you order online from Apple it will probably arrive on Tuesday, and might work out cheaper (free shipping). I've noticed some items in retail outlets are priced higher than on Apple's online store, e.g. the USB SuperDrive seems to be $129 in retail outlets, but $119 from Apple.

Ok. So they don't report that they went to aus?

At this point I'm confident it will be delivered on Monday (I'm in Hamilton). Unless it has to stay in customs on Monday??

No. Sydney is speculation on my part based on what the Apple sales rep told me over the phone (bulk rapid shipment to Sydney then delivered from there). They might have gone directly from Hong Kong to Auckland on a flight that arrived in Auckland around 7:30, but that seems less likely than having made a side trip to Sydney.

Other orders which show Hong Kong to Auckland have about 16 hours in transit, which is too long to just be one flight, so I reckon they stopped off somewhere along the way, and Sydney is most likely. TNT just didn't rescan the items at that point.

I've had overseas orders from other sources processed through customs in the wee small hours, so it is very likely they will be delivered on Monday. For those that need to fly out of Auckland, the question is whether TNT moves them over the weekend, otherwise their regular flight appears to be late Monday morning, which would only give the afternoon for the courier drivers to do the deliveries.

What is the model(Settings - General - About - Model) of the iPhone 5 16 GB bought from the Apple Online Store? is it "MD669X" for black one, and "MD670X" for white one?
