I have a lovely old Compaq TC1000, forerunner to the HP TC1100.

The tablet works well for it's age, but the pen/stylus is broken - namely two wires are broken off the board, someone else tried to solder them back on which didn't work, and it looks like they might have got a little too hot.

So if you still have one of these in working condition kicking around in your glovebox, undies drawer, or the dark hole of your computer station and want to give it a loving home please PM me!

No the ones for the TC1100 and later don't work - they used a different digitizer supplier and system.

Yours may have been working but stopped because it needed a new battery - that would be fine too.

Oh, price wise I can only afford up to $25 including shipping :(

(all offers of spare parts for the TC1000 will also be considered ;)  )

Thank you!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately outside your price range but at least you can get them:
Ebay

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Yeah, I've been watching there, and yeah, way above my price range. The tablet was less than $100, and I'm a stay at home parent who is also a student :(

I'm also watching on TradeMe
