So I brought a shiny new switch the other day, ordered the wrong model, and the blessed supplier won't accept the return because I opened the box before realising it was the wrong model.

Anyone have a need for a HP ProCurve V1410-24

Has a Lifetime warranty, comes with original invoice etc.

Cost me $147 inc + shipping, Offers?

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you.

Is it the 24 port gigabit unmanaged switch?

Model 1410-24 Switch (J9663A) or 1410-24G Switch (J9561A)

V1410-24 is the unmanaged 10/100Mbps switch... presumably you intended to buy the V1410-24G? ;)

Ah, Sorry I don't have any use for 100Mbit switches any longer. Good luck with it though.

Correct :-)

And I also have no use for 10/100mb switches.. bit annoyed that the supplier has denied the RA request, but at the end of the day it was my stuffup and I have to live with it.

Who's the supplier? Reseller or wholesale? Tried a friendly suggestion asking if they have checked up the chain if it can be returned plus stocking fee?

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.
