So I bought myself a spanky new XB1 tonight and discovered when I got home it doesn't have any Audio Connectors; it uses SPDIF or HDMI Audio. Since I use a PC monitor and PC Speakers (3.5mm and also RCA Adaptors) I am rather buggered right now.

Does anyone have an HDMI Audio Extractor I can buy or borrow on short notice?

It can end with 3.5mm or RCA for Audio, and HDMI, VGA or DVI-D for the Video. Lot's of places sell them, none will get here in time for me to enjoy it this weekend :(

EDIT: Or a SPDIF -> Analogue Convertor

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

These work a treat for getting a non-switching analog audio output from a TV that only has optical or a switching headphone port - http://search.ebay.com/171179385514

Should do for you as well. I have seen them on trademe for a not too bad markup too.

Oh, and they are powered by 5v so get a cable and you can power them from an otherwise unused USB port and avoid the power brick and adapter.

Pretty sure they're based in Chch too.

I've got one I used to connect my PS3 to an amp while I connected the video to my PC monitor. Works well.
