My case in the ex-lease PC has a space for a slim optical drive,

I bought a slim DVD drive because I had a need to read a driver CD.

I have no screws to hold it in. They are tiny tiny things.

I would like some.

If you have some that you can post to me for cheap/free, Please let me know.

Doublesided foam tape may work, although maybe difficult to slide in. Otherwise trademe often has sellers who sell small things like screws for only a few dollars in an envelope.

That will be the last resort. Or see if anything from the scrap watches that come into work sometimes will fit the optical drives threads. Was just hoping that someone on here gutted old laptops and was able to biff a few in a 70c envelope or something.

BTW, your local computer store that 'builds' their own product or does repairs (Atech, PB Tech etc) usually have plenty lying about and I'm sure they too would help at no cost.

Theres pictures of where they go. The 1 and 2 are on the drive cage, and the holes do line up.

I have tried some screws I scavanged from an old P4 era laptop I was throwing out and they are too large to go into the holes on the optical drive.
