Hi all,

Selling my 4K monitor, my PC really doesn't have the specs required to run games at 4K, hence why I'm selling it.

I'm looking to get anywhere from $400+ for it. I think that's more than suitable considering they retail for $1k+ in NZ.
I'd also be happy to swap for a 1080p monitor and a little bit of money my way depending on the quality of the 1080p monitor.

I've taken some pictures of it as there is slight damage to it.

A corner of the stand's base is slightly raised unlike the rest.
Apart from that, the only damage is a tiny bit (~2mm) where there is no paint on the back.
And despite what picture 2 says, it can run 60hz at 4k, it says 30hz in that photo as I had not enabled DisplayPort 1.2.

I'm located in Invercargill, and at this point I don't know if I will be able to ship this monitor.
It's quite heavy at ~9kg.

The monitor comes with the stand, power cable, Displayport to Mini-DisplayPort cable and the cable for the in-built USB 3 hub and card reader.
I'm more than happy to hear shipping solutions for anyway interested in purchasing this monitor.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Hmmm. I'm coming to Dunedin in a couple of weeks for the Otago classic rally and I have a nice 24" Dell IPS 1080P monitor I wouldn't mind upgrading...

I could do a small $$$ upgrade. Inteersted?

Could we meet in Dunedin?

Cheers - N

I'm interested but I'm up in Auckland so we'd have to figure out shipping. I'm guessing you don't have the original box?

Also what caused the damage - has it been dropped?

Nope, no original box sorry. And the damage was caused when I was moving the monitor while changing up my desk. And as for shipping, I can try a number of shipping arrangements but it would a bit expensive. Probably around $80

Are you fairly confident that the damage is merely cosmetic? It just looks like a reasonable ding and my concern is that the display itself might be affected.

I recently was reading a review about this monitor and some suggestions online have lead me to think this is an ideal monitor for making HiDPI graphic option enabled for OS X. It would be ideal for my work use.

I am keen on this unit but I am in Christchurch.

I'm confident that it's fine.
First of all, that little bit of damage is only to the bottom of the stand.
And I've been using the display for at least 5 months since the damage occured, and I haven't a single problem with the actual panel.

And (sorry for all the questions) I'm assuming it's an NZ purchase still in warranty?

Sorry about the late reply. I won it in a competition, but they did supply me with the receipt that was used to purchase it.

I'd be happy to swap with a little of money my way, depending on the model, etc.

Currently I'm being offered $400 incl. shipping, if you can beat that. I may consider your offer.
