Hi all,

I have a Xbox 360 that I've replaced due to the loss of WAF - disk drive has the well known eject problem, as long as a disk is left in the drive it will open (if you forget to leave a disk in the drive you'll have to manually over ride with a paper clip) and it's making a rattling noise when opening and closing... this meant that the wife got very fed up with using it as a DVD player.

It's white, a 60GB HDMI model unit (Falcon chipset) with one controller and the media remote control.

This was brought post the fix for the RROD issues. Manufacturing date 28/03/2009.

I'm selling it with 3 games (Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3) NB Halo and Halo 2 are XBOX games playable via backwards compatibility, as I got sign off to replace it with an Xbox One with the Halo Master Chief collection :)

Pick up is in Meadowbank in the evening or Penrose during the day.

Open to offers.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Trademe's seemed to suggest the price as being around $100... make me an offer :-)

Would help if you post make/model of the DVD drive for others as it might help determine how easy/difficult to fix it

Good question - suggestion as to how I can find that out, short of cracking open the case?

Unfortunately cracking open the case is the only way - given the age of the xbox it wouldn't matter breaking the seal. Suggest you borrow an opening tool to make a quick job of it if you can't identify from the drive tray (search for this).

My point is you could be a treasure for someone else and you could be short selling if the right Falcon is an easy fix to replace the drive (and potentially other questionable tweaking)
