Hi hi.

Wanting to ditch my current 0288 number from Black + White Mobile for various reasons, and since I'm doing that I thought I'd try grab a short, easier to remember number while I'm at it.

It seems Vodafone are the only ones issuing 9 digit (including the 021) mobile numbers, so thats the way to go. Except you can only get those on pay monthly accounts, and I get a better deal on my existing prepaid service.

Has anyone got a 9 digit active SIM they'd like to sell/gift/swap for something else?

Cheers,
Sam.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

What os the difference in remembering a 9 digit compared a 10 digit?

I have a 10 digit, it has a pattern on 021-xx-xx-xxx, Where the two lots of two are Sequential numbers. given the pattern its insanely easy to remember.

I would be seeking a number that holds something your memory will stick to rather than worrying about having an extra digit.

Yah I mean I'm not terribly bothered about it but if I can get a shorter number while I'm at it I might as well. Otherwise I'll just grab a new one through Spark if ever.
