Hi All,

Anyone has any decommissioned servers that they are not using / want to get rid off?

Some of my service desk guys are studying for MCSA server 2012 and would like to setup a lab environment.

Would be great if the server can run VM's on it.

Many thanks.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Hey, I have an old HP ML350 G4 server.  Not the fastest beast but can run vSphere ESXi which can run server 2012.

I also have a HP ML350 G6 that I am looking at selling, open for offers on that one.  I will post the specs and drives/ram/details when i get home tonight if you are keen.

If anyone will be dumping those in Auckland - I am after 2U/3U/4U empty enclosures and cooling fans from inside.

Are you still after some servers?

I have an ML350g5, and a couple of DL380G5's.

I'll have to check the specs, but I know the ML350G5 has a quad core CPU, 16GB RAM, and a couple of 146gb SAS drives, and an LTO2 tape unit.

One of the DL380G5s has 2x Quad core CPU's, 32Gb ram, 2x 72Gb sas drives, and I'll have to check on the other DL380 g5 (I think it was a quad core CPU and 12Gb of ram or something)

I also have extra ram somewhere here.

Anyway, let me know if you are interested, could come up with a reasonable deal for the lot if you like.

I also have a Dell poweredge T710 with 2x quad core CPU's, but no ram or disks, that I can throw in to the mix. (powered up and tested ok, before I pilfered the ram for one of my other servers :-) )
