It is just officially become available via Apple Online Stores and shipping in 1-2 weeks. If Apple Online store stated that expected delivery time, I doubt anyone else have it in stock (in retails) yet.

I have read a few reviews that they mostly disappointed with the backup facility. It does serial backup for all the systems, so if you have 2 or more Macs and all waiting to be backed up, you will find it, it only does one at the time and fully take up the bandwidth and with no QOS on the connection. I think it's a doomed product, I'd rather spend the money in getting an external hard drive if it is only for 1 Mac you want to backup from, probably okay for 2 Macs but won't really rely on Time Capsule if you have more than 2 Macs to backup from while using it as router and other stuff (over the WiFi, it's just-alright over ethernet).

Yeah, you are quite right. Time Capsule only does serial backup. Fortunately, I only have one Mac. For a combination of 802.11n draft router and a 500GB NAS device, $500 is definitely a good buy - without considering the sleek and compact design.

I am not too sure if it comes with QoS control and it's worth looking into as I will be sharing it with my partner quite a bit for video streaming. Any experience/thoughts?

Cheers
