Hi All

I am working on a project and might need a 100MB USB Zip Drive to read data on an old ZIP Disk.

Does anyone have a drive they would look to sell if the need arose? Based in Auckland.

Cheers

I think I have one of those somewhere. I'm in Pukekohe if that's Auckland enough for you.

I first have to find it. I havent used it in years but I dont recall throwing it out.

And then check it still works.

OK, found it (and an even older serial port one!), and it seems to be working.

Hi Guys

USB would is ideal but Parral might do the trick.  I will be in Pukekohe Sat week so could look to collect if I can't track down a USB version.

Also after a couple of 100MB disks if anyone has some.

Cheers

@skyplonk I have both parallel and USB, and several 100MB disks, and even a 250MB one.

I should be around that weekend.

The USB is the Zip250 model that doesn't need a power adapter, it is powered from the USB port.

Pretty sure I have USB and IDE drives somewhere. Probably some disks too if the others fall through.

Used to love these in the days of floppies.

Also have a LS120 drive and a disk too - it was all about 20% increases stealing the show I those days :)
