Selling my GTX 1070 SC as I want to upgrade.

Brought from DTC Systems LTD on 14/12/16.

There is an issue with the fans in that one of the fans is possibly spinning faster or slower than the other causing a thrumming noise at high fan speed. This may not bother you but if does you have full store covered warranty with DTC Systems and I'll include dialog with EVGA regarding the issue.

Looking for a quick sale if possible. All invoices included.

Well it's $685 new, and you say that has a fault, but haven't RMAed it.

Cheap 1070s are $608. On sale with the CL 7-8% discounts go down to $560~.

US prices are now under $300US.

So I'm just not sure what I'd pay for it really given those new prices.

I was interested but for the price you listed (Higher than the current RRP than a standard gtx 1070 and $55 cheaper than the exact model) it is too much for something that you describe as having a manufacture fault and being 6 months old. If you have a sharper price in mind please do let me know.

You'd be silly to buy one that EVGA has accepted for a RMA for the unit and given the retail prices are plummeting and the card is about to be replaced. I'll give you $350NZD for the card OP.

If you get it RMA'd ill give you $425

It's $685 new at a store in the South Island, I've never dealt with them and I don't know what there warranty policy's are, but it may work better for you... (sorry not trying to be rude.)

Actually that is the 1070 SC Black edition, don't confuse that for the SC version I have, cheapest store being $709 who are out of stock... I don't know what CL is...

The RMA is up to you, it's somewhat minor (fan issue) and may not bother you. DTC Systems have full store warranty so the turn around should be quick if you decide to, some stores do not offer full in store warranty.

The GTX 1070 are holding their price in NZ so US prices may be irrelevant.

If you decide to RMA you should get a brand new card with at least 2.5 years warranty left, I feel $630 reflects that value. I may consider $600 min.

The retail prices for GTX 1070 look more or less the same to me, what is your source for that?

Replacing the card is up to you, the issue is somewhat minor and may or not bother you. I wanted to be honest and put it out there.

Those prices are far to low, what your getting is essentially a brand new EVGA GTX 1070 SC.
