Got an old MacBook Air for sale, restored to OS to factory using Internet Restore which returns it to the version of Mac OS X it shipped with (Mountain Lion), but the model is compatible with macOS High Sierra. 4GB Ram, i5 CPU, 128GB SSD. It's fine for macOS Yosemite and El Capitan, but too slow for Sierra in my opinion. The battery is in its old age, but at least it does charge to 100% successfully. $100 as-is + $16 CourierPost overnight anywhere in NZ. Contact me via PM

Hey CoffeeBaron, someone else has already asked to buy it. If that falls through I will post another message.

Really? I can never tell when people are pulling my leg or not in text form ☺️

I always sell things for what I would pay for them. The fact that second-hand Mac laptops are overpriced on TradeMe doesn’t enter into it for me...
It’s a 5 year old laptop with obvious dings and scratches and a battery which has past its best years. It’s for sale as-is because who knows how much longer it will actually be in working order? I can’t offer any guarantees on it, maybe I could have asked $200 if it didn’t have the obvious wear and tear and I’ve obviously priced it to sell fast but seriously, $100 is all I would pay for this and I don’t believe in asking for more than I would pay myself. I’ve only ever failed to sell one thing online, and I’ve never had any complaints about what I sell because I’m straight up.

In other words, I would be terrible working in retail 😆

I often sell things on here for cheaper than they're worth because I just want to get rid of them :)

But to the OP this was indeed a pretty good deal. Shame I didn't see it earlier!

MacBooks always sell for a fair bit. Sure 2012 is kinda old, but still a decent Ultrabook.

I would've paid $200. But good on you for selling for what you thought was fair. Often people want 80% of what they paid for it

Agree with above, personally I would have easily paid $200 to have it sitting around the house for internet browsing on the couch!

Give me a heads up next time you are looking to sell something ;)
