I have an Asus Laptop X551c that has the keyboard cable detached internally (oops). It's a tiny ribbon cable that looks impossible to put back on. Is it possible / economic to get them put back on?

If not, available for parts. The disk seems mostly stuffed. Display / RAM / CPU ok but probably soldered in. i3 4GB RAM.

Also, a tip. Don't try to take laptops apart to image the hard disk for backup unless you really, really need to. If they have a hard drive bay then sure, but not if you have to take the whole base off.
