Ive been given a AMD 64 4000+ CPU and a motherboard which unfortunately overheats all the time... so Im looking for a replacement 939 motheboard - only major requirement is it must have PCIEX.

Yep me too. They are really hard to find at the moment.

There are usually are couple on Trademe, but they usually end up going for almost what they retailed for 2 years ago. Good luck.

If it's just a heat problem - have you looked at better cooling? I used to have a Asus 939 board that had a flaky factory chipset cooler. Fixed it up with a trip to Jaycar and some, er, modding.

Yeah, $100+ on TM... and thats for 2nd hand ones.

Well, the friend I got the board from had tried a few things with no luck, I took it as Im not planning on using the onboard GFX (which is what is overheating) but it appears hes taken 2 of the heatsinks off, and all the jum,pers so is starting to look like a hassle to get going :)

Also need a HS/F for the CPU....... which means more money....
