Hope this is ok to post here. I have a brand new Karcher WV5 Premium Window Vacuum, in original unopened box. Unwanted prize as would rather have the money so looking to sell it. Lowest price I can find currently advertised in stores is $176 at Bunnings.

Have put it on a local Facebook buy and sell page at $150 but only had a couple of offers of $80 and $90 which seems a bit low for a brand new product currently selling at around double that in stores.

Anyone interested? Pickup in Churton Park, Wellington preferred.

Since you're wondering why no one wanted to pay full price.

Ah right, thanks. Listed it below the lowest store price I could find so didn't think I was trying to get full price but i hadn't looked at rival brands. I do note that deal appears to be from last year and it's now $89 at Mitre 10 and doesn't seem to be on Harvey Norman's website anymore. What extra does the Karcher one do for it to be so much more expensive?

Its up to you want you want for it but...

If I was to buy anything that expensive from some unkown Joe ,  I'd expect it to be more than $25 less than retail price.
Otherwise why bother, Id get one from bunnings & know I'd never have warranty issues etc.

It may be in the sealed box, but its still used as far as a buyer is concerned . Has to be low enough price to be
seen as a bargain.

Yeah fair enough. First time I've ever sold anything brand new so it's a learning experience. Initially listed it lower than the lowest retail price I could find but quickly realised that was still too high. I did state offers were welcome but felt the $80 one that came was a bit low. Anyway someone had said he'll take it for $120 now so wait and see if he actually turns up.
