HP Elitebook 840 G2
Laptop has water damage and will no longer power on.
When attempting to power on, the power light will flick on and then off again indicating a failure in the system somewhere.
Screen is not broken, and all other parts are untested.
Might be ok for parts, but since water has made it to the mainboard I am unsure of the reliablity of any parts.

Has a 4GB DIMM of memory
Has a 500GB SATA HDD

Further specs can be found here: (this is the non-touch screen version)
https://support.hp.com/nz-en/document/c04552057

Located in Hamilton.

Open to offers, not sure if there is much use to anyone so would try here before trying my luck on Trademe

So i had a chance to test the memory module in this laptop and it has failed, however when i put a known working module into it, the laptop booted!

So it looks like the damage was only to the memory module and not the rest of the laptop.

Still there was some water that entered the device so unknown how long it would/could last for.
