LG 55" 4K UHD OLED Model OLED55B8

Purchased - 20/05/19 from Noel Leeming as a display model, sales person told me it was on display for 2 months approx before I purchased and they do turn it off everyday and run panel with varied screens.

I am looking for what I paid for, as I want to get a bigger size.

55" is too small for the room I want this to be in and keen to upgrade to 65" LED if not for OLED :)

Pick up is a must from Flat Bush area. I cannot ship this.

No box, but it should fit into a station wagon or SUV with seats folder.

I have wall mounted it now but have the stand that came with it.

Looking for any interest for now, not in a rush as it works very well just after bigger size.

No one knows what you paid for it, and now that you've said that, and the screen is 1 month old on top of being an ex-display model, bringing up the device age to 3 months, and it's second hand not from a retailer, you're going to have a rough time I think. As for the not in any rush bit - you're going to have a harder time as the screen gets older, so were you genuinely wanting to get rid of it, time would be of the essence.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

I got the same as you did in a display model but from Harvey Normans and got the 65" oled , You will find it so much better at the bigger size.

Good luck with the sale the 55" oled is nothing to be sneezed at.

How much was the 65" OLED display model if you don't mind me asking?

Got a 65" plasma, would love to go bigger. OLED just so expensive. Some of the new 4K short throw laser projectors look interesting.

At the time they were going for 6k and got mine for 4.7k I think from memory.

As much as I understand that price isn't supposed to be debated on these FS threads, I'll still put it out there that I think you're being somewhat unrealistic that you'll find someone willing to pay the same price for the TV as you did.

I get the sense that you'll struggle to sell it at the purchase price here on GZ, especially given you've noted it's a floor shop model -  that, in itself, will reduce your potential audience (I for one don't contemplate purchasing floor stock). Pick-up only also reduces that potential market even more... You may have better luck on TM, given the relative audience size.

Really appreciate your input, but nothing wrong in trying it right? I have now listed it on TM. I think it's better fit for someone that "needs" one in the area that I live in.
